Mike Garcia, the artist behind Camp Nine Board Line, is also the artist for Surfer Girl Academy Surf School. Mito Kasuya of Surfer Girl Academy held a collabo art show with Kat Reeder (awesome artist…one of my favorites) at the Greenroom in Waikiki on 1/6/12. It was a fun night showcasing SGA’s clothing line and Kat Reeder’s amazing work. It was open to the public. Many people attended as well as the Waikiki tourists. There were drinks, pupus and industry guests. Shuji Kasuya of SK Surfboards and Hurley, Jun of Greenroom, the SGA & Greenroom staff, Waikiki surf boys were the many few that showed up. I look forward to the next art show and plan to have our Camp Nine Graphic Surboards showcased. Stay tuned…
